“JIFFY”  CONCEPTUAL RE-BRAND


This conceptual rebrand is a design opportunity to design a refreshed packaging system that appeals to millennial and Gen Z shoppers while keeping the brand identity, story/background, and company values. JIFFY's story was in 1930, chelase mills is a Michigan family company that prioritizes affordability, ease, and feeding America wherever they can. Mabel Holmes, creator of JIFFY mix, was inspired by two boys' awful sandwiches. She envisioned a mix with everything except the liquid, so anyone—even the father of a motherless broad — could easily make good biscuits. Her idea revolutionized home cooking with convenience and simplicity.
Today, JIFFY is the market share leader in retail-prepared muffin mixes, yet our goal remains the same: to feed America, especially during the hard economic times. Since JIFFY Is all about its simplicity, I chose to highlight and express its elements in a 2025 way. I changed their language to sound more mom-like and encouraging and shifted from the traditional JIFFY box mascot to Mabel Holmes, the founder behind the JIFFY idea. The main idea I chose to highlight was the Ease of JIFFY. If you need an additive ingredient, it's nothing you don't already have in the house, also, Just Mix and Just Add make jiffy seem easier than pie! This rebrand highlights not just the fun and simplicity of baking but also the joy of family coming together.
